Introduction

Gokarna is a True sand Paradise within the northern part of Karnataka! It has 5 foremost shores that have smooth water, mild swells, and extraordinary views! There are lush, inexperienced hills among those shores which makes Gokarna a good, lesser thrilling vicinity to go to. 

Difficulty level of the Gokarna Beach Trek? 

That is, if you’re active at least a lot of times a week, it’s going to be an easy journey for you. 

 Why should you do this Trek? 

  • Hiking along the seacoast is the Stylish way to explore Gokarna and witness its true beauty! So throw away the idea of renting a vehicle and going to these paths. 
  • Your vehicle won’t be suitable to take you to all the beaches. For example Half Moon Beach and Paradise beach are reachable either by a hike or a ferry. 
  • Ferry Lift is costly! If you plan to visit multiple beaches, it’s better to do so on the bottom! One way lift from Om Beach to Paradise Beach will bring around Rs. 300! 
  • The views you get to see on this Trek are jaw dropping. It’s such a Rewarding experience in itself! If your luck favours you,  you can easily spot Dolphins from many escarpments near Half Moon Beach! 

 Where to start the Trek from? 

 Option 1 

The Gokarna Beach Trek can be started from either of the minimum ends – i.e Gokarna Main Beach or Belekan Beach. Still, there isn’t really any trail in between Gokarna Main Beach and Kudle Beach. You have to take the usual road to reach at Kudle Beach

 Option 2 

 Alternatively, you may choose to start the Gokarna Beach Trek from Belekan Beach or ParadiseBeach.However, your journey will substantially start from Belekan Beach, If you join a group stint from Bangalore or any other megacity. There isn’t an important beach or a long bank at Belekan Beach, it’s just a point upto which the Tour Operator can take you on the Road from the other side.

Places to visit during the Gokarna sand journey 

Gokarna Beach 

One of the most popular beaches in Gokarna, Gokarna Beach recently gained fame for being a surfing point. It is also famous for its scenic trekking path. Located close to the Mahabaleshwara Temple, Gokarna Beach is also known as the place where pilgrims first come to take a dip before visiting the temple. This beach gives off some of the most beautiful sights of the ocean and the girding hillocks. 

Om Beach 

The beach’s shape is such that it appears to be the auspicious symbol ‘ OM ’ in the Hindi script and so it is named after it. Om beach is one of the pristine and fleeting beaches in Gokarna for the plethora of water sports and exertion that people cherish also. From the bumpy banana lift to the speedy spurt ski lift, from underwater touring on the hilly terrain to spotting dolphins in the middle of the ocean; OM beach is spot on. 

 Half Moon Beach 

Beaches are miraculous but a thick and lush jungle overlooking a bottomless stretch of the Arabian Ocean is giddy. Half- moon beach is such an experience where you get to engage in myriads of exertion like swimming, kayaking, paddle boats, touring, boarding, etc. Half- moon is one of the beaches in Gokarna which you can also walk over to it in a scenic trip starting from Gokarna beach and covering the notorious five Gokarna beaches in one go. This beach derives its name from its shape which resembles a half moon.

 Paradise Beach 

Famously known as the ‘ full moon beach, ’ Paradise beach makes justice to its name. To reach this beach, one has to take a motorboat from OM beach or half- moon beach or have to trip down from the half- moon beach.  Paradise beach stretches around 150 measures in length and is an ideal destination for swimming and camping. Around 70 percent of the beach is covered in jewels which makes some picture-perfect elevation points for photography. 

 Nirvana Beach 

 The enrapturing environs of Nirvana make you feel like you are in a fantastic setting. The beach has a truly long riverfront and you hardly find fellow travelers  around as it’s a little off the beaten path. Still, you are suggested to carry food and water as there are no analogous installations If you are traveling to Nirvana beach. Swimming is a great adventure to explore but due to the absence of lifeguards and local people, the visitors must avoid going deep in the sea, as the ocean has strong currents. 

 Dolphin Point 

 Between Half Moon beach and Om beach. Om beach is deposited at a separation of roughly 8 km from the megacity of Gokarna. Two fraction shapes that combine to look like the image ‘ OM ’ is the purpose of the name of the riverfront. 

 Shiva Temple 

 It’s believed that Aatmalinga of Lord Shiva linga was brought then by Ravan. He could n’t lift back and since also the linga made Gokarna its home. The tabernacle is a notorious pilgrim place for Shiva worshipers.
